I've installed SelectView, but I don't see it on my IE toolbar. Why?

That relates to something Microsoft has done in developing IE. In short, if your IE toolbar has ever been customized, you will have to manually turn on SelectView. Please click here to see the steps.

I sometimes want SelectView Filter to be disabled. What's the easiest way to do this?

You can click on the SelectView toolbar icon to bring up the menu. From there you have the option to disable/reenable SelectView Filter. In the menu you also have the option to disable SelectView Filter for a certain websites or page.

How do I uninstall the SelectView Filter?

In Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs, and then click SelectView Filter. SelectView Filter will be removed.

How do I add a website address to the whitelist?

You can click on the SelectView toolbar icon to bring up the menu. Then you can click on "Preferences" -> "Whitelist" -> "Add a website address."

How do I edit a website address in the whitelist?

You can click on the SelectView toolbar icon to bring up the menu. Then you can click on "Preferences" -> "Whitelist." Right click on the website address to bring up the context menu, and select "Edit."

How do I delete a website address from the whitelist?

I've added a website to the whitelist. Why do I still see ads blocked on that site?

Most likely it's because you included "www" when you entered the site and some pages on the site do not start with "www". Some examples are news.xyz.com, blog.xyz.com, etc. If this is the case, please change the item from "www.xyz.com" to to "xyz.com." This should fix the problem.
